TanyaAja.in
Platform to collect anonymous questions
TanyaAja.in is a free, ad-free platform that lets anyone collect anonymous questions from other people. Users share a personal link and anyone can submit a question without revealing their identity β a lightweight, privacy-first alternative to NGL or Sarahah.
Those existing platforms had become popular, but they came with baggage: murky data practices, intrusive ads, and a general sense that the questions you submitted were being harvested for something. I kept asking myself: whatβs the minimum version of this concept that youβd actually trust?
The answer turned out to be surprisingly simple β open source so anyone can audit the code, no ads, auto-delete after reading so nothing lingers in a database, and Google login so thereβs one less password to manage. TanyaAja.in is that version.
At its peak, the platform was used by hundreds of Indonesian creators β YouTubers, writers, and community figures who used it to collect questions from their audiences. It eventually wound down and is now archived, but it had a good run.
Note: TanyaAja.in is no longer actively maintained and has been archived.
